The Speedy Oriental
Continuing my search for the best hainan-style steamed chicken rice, I took myself to Berry Square good court and landed in front of The Speedy Oriental.
You can hardly miss this place; it spans across the whole corner of the ground level food court, offering two-choice hot food bar selections, made-to-order meals, soups and even sushi.
The chicken rice is slightly less expensive compared to others in the area, and is generously served. It is a little more oily to my liking, but with the chicken already deboned, full-flavoured ginger sauce and spicy chili sauce, it makes up to a very enjoyable meal.
The Speedy Oriental is also one of the "good-value" place for fresh juices, with large size juice for just $4.90 (or a little more for styrofoam cup).
With a lot of staffs serving the place and foods arriving quickly, this place has surely lived up to its name.
This shop vainished before Berry Sq was teared down. Anyone know where it has moved to?
