The Sporting Globe
I very much enjoyed the sporting globe in moonee ponds when i had a work function so i decided to take my family to our nearest one in taylors lakes at watergardens shopping centre. Not the same experience. Service hear was really slow. Even though i had a booking for dinner we had to wait a fair bit to be seated. Getting waiters attention was difficult even though we had a designated waiter but felt like she only came around every 30mins. The atmosphere is the same and the food on the menu is also the same expectation but they mixed up the orders when it came out. One of the steak was cooked well done when asked for med so it had to be sent back to be cooked again so the extended wait time was not ideal for my brother. Wait time between entree and main was also a long time. Good to know with this experience as i wont be coning back to this location for the sporting globe.
We went midday during the week, there was a line to be seated, as the waitress was nowhere to be seen. Eventually we were seated.. however we decided we just wanted drinks.. so we proceedee to the bar. At the bar we were made to wait, which is fine. However acknowledge your customers.. anyway we waited as it was clear the staff member behind the bar was serving another customer... however when it was our turn a delivery came.. instead of taking our order and telling us to have a seat and they will be out shortly, the staff member told us she needed to take this delivery, which was fine... however when we were waiting for another 10 minutes and completely forgotten about, we proceeded to walk out. This place has the worst service !
