The Starving Artist art gallery is a wonderful venue to display and sell some of Tasmania's finest artwork.
The gallery (located at Devil's Den gifts & souvenirs in Huonville) showcases a variety of art mediums created by various Tasmanian artists. This allows for a degree of diversity that is splendidly invigorating. The art director has developed a perceptive skill in displaying this assortment of distinctively different pieces in a pleasingly harmonious manner. This effect not only allows the individuality of each piece to stand out but also for this compilation of artwork to become an entity of its own.
The Starving Artist art gallery is one of three separate businesses located at Devil's Den. This creates the capacity for sales commissions that are exceedingly lower than at most other art galleries. This equates to sale prices that are remarkably lower and more affordable than you will find elsewhere. Most importantly- it also means that the artist receives a more significant portion of the sale.
It is the enjoyment of the artwork along with the artist receiving not only acknowledgment of their talent but also fair financial compensation that is the driving force behind The Starving Artist!
