The Steak Bank Charcoal Grill

I've been here many times; it's in staggering distance from home. Absolutely fantastic! It is a little pricey but 'you get would you pay for' and you won't find a better steak!!

I was at first put off by what seemed very high prices, but some of the steaks were massive!! I ordered a cheaper steak menu item, and that with the chips and salad was slightly too large, but that's expected when eating out. The service was lovely. Yes, the decor is dated, but it won't be long before it is retro and cool again probably... ok, maybe not.. I enjoyed it. The steak was really yummy, as was the salad and the chips... no wow factor, none of the bells and whistles, but I would go there again.

If you know your steak and dine out regularly it's worth a try. If you're not local to the area maybe its not worth going out of you way to visit. The meat is the hero here, side dishes, decor and service are average but being BYO makes up for this.
