Great little spot for a drink and a nice lunch or dinner. The view is second to none. Not bad pricing (if you are from the big smoke). Sometimes a bit busy but worth it.

Typical surf club food. Bit ordinary with higher than expected pricing. Great view for a drink and a snack

Nice club! Done up well and great beach views. Service is a bit slow. Club wasn't busy but took over half an hour for lunch. The salmon was good. Great when on hols!

I went here for the first (and certainly last) time in August of 2012.

Since I had never been there before I was obviously not a member. When I got to the front desk with a friend, the staff checked our Identification and said to my friend (who lived in caloundra) "ok you can sign in as a visitor". Then looked at my ID (I lived in mooloolaba at the time) and says "You do know that if you live within a certain distance that you have to be a member of the club to get in don't you?" I said "... No I didn't." To which replied with attitude "Well you are going to have to be signed in by someone, otherwise I can't let you in." Luckily my friend who was a member at the Caloundra RSL was able to sign me in.

I don't understand why staff didn't just ask me if I wanted to become a member. Rather then making a point of the fact that I wasn't a member . I'm never returning to a place.
