The Swiss Cottage Restaurant
The Swiss Cottage Restaurant is in an old homestead in the hub of the Blue Mountains. It serves Swiss and French inspired food, such as Coq Au Vin, Veal A La Crème and Swiss cheese fondue. The substantial dessert menu and range of Australian and New Zealand wines will be sure to please. Note, the restaurant does not accept credit cards.

We love this place. Great feed for for a great price. Where else can you get an intoxicating fondue for two - very authentic.
Last time we stayed in the cuckoo's nest next to the restaurant and had our meal delivered by their goregous son, who showed us a magic trick. Very welcoming and we leave so full of food.
I reccomend the snails for entree, fondue for dinner and my favourite is the Lindt chocolate fondue with fruit and merangue for dessert.
They only accept cash - so don't forget your wallet.
If you are in the mountains, this is the perfect place to go for a comforting meal after a day of bush walking. Set in a cottage with a fire place, it has a very homey feeling. You can have potatoe rostis in around 12 different ways and they also have cheese fondue. Perfect after a day of bushwalking.
