Useless. You could hire a top end hotel for less money that won’t lose as much of your stuff and has better food.
They may pretend to offer multiple services but do not be fooled, it’s a drug rehab centre full of ex cons that also traps unsuspecting customers with low end mood disorders.
The clinic runs a group based programme which is mostly educational rather than practical and there is little psychological support whilst in the clinic. The clinic runs an active out patient programme with psychological services. You get to see a psychologist for 30 mins a week with the expectation that you may continue to see them when you leave. The accommodation is acceptable but nothing flash. The food is nutritious and edible. The staff are on the whole very pleasant. I think however that the level of actual inpatient psychological services is poor. The emphasis seems to be on qualifying you for fee generation after you leave rather than whilst in a crisis.
The Sydney Clinic has many good points, however it also has several bad ones. The facilities themselves are not really up to the standard being paid for this Private Hospital. Inconsistent management decisions, continual refurbishment work creating noise and stress for patients has been going on for several years now. Whilst some staff are of a high standard, many are not suited to the roles they are in .The meals are of a reasonable standard, however they have declined over the past 2-3 years and the service attitude is lacking. Organisation is not at the level expected for the monetary value being paid. Whilst I would recommend this facility to others, I would make comment not to expect too high a standard of nursing or daily management. The senior medical staff and the ward managers are both approachable and amiable to assisting you, they do their best in a muddled situation.
