Beautiful environment, easy to find location, combined with their high tea, perfect for a little catch-up. Recommended

We celebrated our 5th anniversary here on Friday. It was a delightful getaway from a stressful few weeks of work. The afternoon high tea was very good. The savory bites and pastries were the highlights. The sandwiches were good, but not outstanding. We had the Rose Hip Tea and the Jewel Tea. The former was very good, but the latter was quite weak so I asked if I could change mine to the Rose Hip. They were very nice and replaced the tea without charging me extra. We sat in the big comfy chairs, enjoyed our food and listened to the relaxing classical music. We wish we could've spent the whole day there just chilling out.

What better thing to do on a gloomy Sydney day than to catch up with friends for a high tea. We headed up to the beautiful QVB tea rooms, at the top of he QVB building on George Street and were warmly greeted by staff who found our group of 6 a table without having booked prior. We were ushered into the lovely tearooms adorned with arched windows overlooking the city and cystal chandeliers hanging above and taken to our neatly set table.
Staff kindly explained the intricacies of the menu, including various options including a cocktail, sparkling or champagne afternoon tea and alerted us to the numerous varieties of tea available, over 50!
We decided to go with the traditional morning tea, which for $50 suited all our budgetary needs. We were served a number of delicious savoury items ...read more

I was taken to the Tea Room at QVB for my birthday by a few girlfriends and was not disappointed. The whole room is so opulent and really felt like a proper British afternoon tea space. We had the champagne high tea and were spoiled with so many little sandwiches, pastries and scones with all the condiments. I think food wise, this place is the best high-tea in Sydney. The setting is just beautiful and the food was fantastic. Highly recommend.

Had a lovely high tea here once in the past, but most recently I came back at night for a big function and it was fantastic! Great venue, lovely space, delicious food, decent beverage package, and plenty of room for fun afterwards. Had a great time, would happily attend a function here again.
