The Tipsy Fig

We have been to the Tipsy Fig on a number of occasions and we're convinced it is the most consistently good of Milton restaurants. The service is usually good to great, the food always good. The atmosphere isn't as nice as it could be but otherwise we think it's worth being a regular.

We visited The Tipsy Fig at the suggestion of Vanessa, hostess of the nearby Mrs Top B&B. Our first visit was so enjoyable we returned the following evening. Arrive at 6-00 if you do not want to sit around waiting - the place was full both nights Wed / Thurs by 7-15. My pork belly was super, a rare steak was close to medium but still juicy. All 4 diners in our group very happy.

The meal took forever to be served and was lukewarm when it arrived. The 'vegetables' were uninspiring fried potatoes. You need to look after your locals better and lift your game. Not good enough.
