We stayed here on a girls trip in March in the sun-penthouse. The place is really modern in the lobby and the staff, when they were there, were lovely. However, the reception isn't manned very frequently and going in between the two towers is a bit of an annoyance. The room itself was big and the balcony space was great. The view of surfers was amazing and the location hard to beat. There are restaurants and shops within a 5 minute walking distance. It is a great and central place to stay. However, the rooms were extremely outdated in their decor and could've done with a layer of paint. All in all it was a decent place to stay in the middle of busy surfers paradise.
My friend booked us all here for her birthday girls weekend trip. We stayed in a sub penthouse (43rd) which had an amazing view of the city and the beach! There were 6 of us and we were very comfortable. However I was a little disappointed with the poor decor and broken aircon in the master room. For a sub penthouse I expected a little better than what we had.
The pool was alright - was always packed with children everywhere and no where to really lay down. I guess you would just go to the beach as it is literally a 10 minutes walk from here.
The building was super confusing too as there are 2 towers and the access point to certain parts (shopping centre/pool/gym/reception) is different depending on which tower you are coming from, and they don't explain that anywhere so we were trial/erroring and getting lost in the process the whole time.
Overall, the view from our balcony crossed out most of the cons of this place!
Great hotel, great location shame about the horrible rude staff! They do not want to help you with anything and act like you are disrupting them if you ever approach the desk. This really let our stay down, they defiantly need new staff who are happy to help with a smile on their faces.
Stayed with them during the Easter Holiday with my wife and kids. They love it. Free parking for guest. Shopping Centre directly below. Out Door and In Door Pool. Game Room. They have everything you need under one roof. The best part is their location. It is right in the centre of Sufers Paradise. You can pretty much walk to everywhere (except going to the Theme Parks of course) The apartment itself is modern and clean. Highly Recommended!
