The Tramway Hotel

All I can say is that this is another one of those trendy inner-city pubs that are hidden away in the backstreets. As I have suggested some of the best pubs are those that are hidden away from the main strips (or roads, as is the case here as this part of inner Melbourne is much more residential). Okay, it is a little dark inside, but I still really liked the quiet atmosphere of the place. I even discovered a small beer garden out the back near the toilets (which I had no idea existed until I had to go). What was really cool was the sign on the wall that told everybody to keep the noise down, and pointed out that unfortunately the argument 'you moved next to a pub so what did you expect' unfortunately doesn't wash when the neighbours complain.

Tramway Hotel is a gorgeous quaint little pub set in the heart of Fitzroy North, in the hot and happening area that serve a mean burgers. The patty was super juicy and flavoursome and the bun was soft and tasty. My friend had the 'bao' which is an Asian style bun and the pork smelt super aromatic. Beautiful alvours. The poutine was just as good and fingerlicking good actually. They have board games for guests to play as well. The food came out in no time at all and we were all left very satisfied.

Lovely small pub, food good and staff nice. We went for 'Sunday roast' night for $12 bucks was delish, I had the pork which was better than mums! Def going back, nice and easy on my pocket and great feed.
