The Union Hotel
We've gone through a transformation and now have a funky new back bar! The front bar is great to hang out in groups with large bench seats.
Whether it be a dinner for two â?? large groups, friends, business lunches or an early family feast, there's something for everyone.

This place comes across as a live music venue, and these types of pubs really have a great charm about them. Well, not always, but this one was okay. They did have a nice selection of beers but it didn’t really grab me as some of these pubs have a habit of grabbing me. Still, I did like it, though I wouldn’t say that it happens to be one of my favourites.
Went last night for some food (Monday), went through the back to a big courtyard bistro area. The food was pricey but great quality! We went to leave and it was packed in the bar area, Monday nights is comedy night, we only watched one guy but seemed like it continues throughout the night. Very entertaining!
Old school bar at the from with pool tables and ping pong. Move our towards the back big eating areas with additional bar. There is a nicely renovated courtyard out the back that gets pretty busy. this is the type of bar you meet friends to play pool or have something to eat. I wouldn't say it would be the most exciting place in Newtown. I have the Gnocchi and it was lovely light fluffy and full of flavor. Some of the dishes I found were a little pricey for a pub but the quality is there.
