The Vacluse Hotel

The Vacluse has undegone a face lift in the last couple of years.Apart from the changes to decor they also introduced lunch time specials, which were great value and good quality.On my recent visit the specials were still in place but the qualtiy seemed to have dropped.I had a lamb wrap($13), which was essentially a lamb burger(tasty) wrapped in lebanese bread and a mountain of chips on the side. Even the chips were of a lesser quality.Light on the potato, heavy on the fat. Apart from that, the service was fast and friendly.Wine was part of the lunch deal and they had a special on stubbies($4), which was good value.

Unbelieveably great value for meals and some of the best food I've experienced in Richmond in 12 years of living here! Great pub atmosphere and decor, staff are very friendly and always up for a chat. I recommend the Vaucluse highly!
