The Vietnamese Restaurant
When you see the bold sign out front announcing The Vietnamese Restaurant, you know the intentions of the owner, chef and staff – to serve you straight-to-the-point great tasting Vietnamese-style cuisine. This intention is realised, with diners commenting on the great quality of the healthy food, particularly the soups.
And of course a restaurant is about more than food, it is also about the nature of the service and whether the overall experience is value for money. In both instances The Vietnamese Restaurant in Fortitude Valley does not disappoint.

Firstly I'll start with how BYO restaurants are my favourite kinds of restaurants. Mainly because I'm thrifty and I don't like spending squillions on drinks but also because I find them to have the best food. They are generally traditional restaurants that do basic things, well. The Vietnamese Restaurant is no exception and I can say that their staff are friendly, their food is cheap and it is daaaaarn tasty. It's not the nicest decor but that doesn't really matter too much to me. I prefer an authentic experience over spectacularly modern decor anyway.
If you are looking for tasty Vietnamese food, do not miss this restaurant. They offer cheap yet very delicious cuisines. My favorite is no other than the vermicelli with spring rolls. Though all the foods here really taste great, this dish stands out for me. Even their noodle soup and rice paper rolls are good too.
