The Village Grocer
The Village Grocer is one of the largest independent grocery stores that I have ever been to. It is not just in terms of floor size but also the extensiveness of product offerings.
Across the front of the store is ready-to-consume Italian takeaway food counter, cakes, desserts and fresh juice shop. The main store is then sectioned into a gourmet deli on one whole side of the store, and general groceries on the rest.
The shops lighting is very comfortable to the eyes, and with wooden & metal shelves it really amps up the atmosphere of the store.
I managed to order their freshly made juice and their cannelloni as a quick lunch bite. They were very affordable compared to stores of same product offerings (my large green juice was $6 and the cannelloni was $4.50!)
They also employ a lot of staffs so the service is very prompt and timely.
