I booked for 61 people to have my 21st there last weekend.
This place was so amazing to deal with - nothing was too much trouble for the staff (they were totally unfazed by the need to source 8 high chairs for my baby-laden family, and were not remotely stressed at having to deal with not only my party but the other party in the same section and all the other drop-ins they had for Sunday lunch - it was complete chaos but they managed to make it orderly). ...read more
The Function Managers and Staff could not do enough for us. Food was fantastic and we saved over $8,000 by not having it in the city. Our family and guests loved it. Splendid views of the water all round, great outdoor areas, thanks could not recommend it more to anyone wanting a wedding venue.
What a great day out. I took my mum for lunch and we had a really lovely meal at great prices. The service was excellent with the staff very knowledgeable and attentive. We had a drink afterwards in the lounge and the Club staff were very friendly and there was a great band playing lovely music. All round a really welcoming ambiance, great food and service, I cant wait to come back.
Just had a meeting with the function co ordinators at the Waterfront Function Centre, St George Motor Boat Club, the club has been renovated since i was last there, it looks lovely and modern and the function rooms have a beautiful outlook. I was fortunate enough to have a viewing just as the room was set for a wedding that evening, it looked stunning, the decorations etc that the hosts had chosen complemented the room and occassion perfectly!! I have looked at numerous other function venues in the local area and this location is by far the best judging by the view, location, service and positive feedback i have recieved from friends/family and colleagues regarding the club, restaurant and functions. Fingers crossed the date i want is available!!!
