I don't usually write comments about places whee I've been, but I was really disappointed with this one. The beautician didn't smile, let a LOT of wax on my legs (i had to go back home and wash my legs with oil to remove it), and I still had hairs on my knees, ankles, eyebrows and back of tights. My eyebrows were not looking nice at all. Also, prior to waxing my face, I like the them to apply some kind of disinfectant for a more hygienic waxing, and a releasing cream after, so that I don't go out all red, but they didn't.
So, yeah, it's not that expensive, and the wax they use seems to be of good quality (it smells good, doesn't burn, ...), but I think that there might be a lack of professionalism and/or skills ...
WORST PLACE!!! Had my eyebrows waxed there a few days ago and I left with uneven eyebrows. The shape of my eyebrows are now messed up, they barely use wax instead they pluck the whole eyebrow. I am so unhappy with how my eyebrows are now. Bloody too thin when they we nice and thick and perfect shape! DONT GO THERE - THEY RUIN YOUR EYEBROWS! Plus the beauticians don't talk to you and don't smile to seem like they care (which clearly they don't) to be honest VERY UNPROFESSIONAL
wasted my very busy morning! Advertised opening hours Sunday 9.30am start. Still standing outside! After watching your waxing divas slowly stroll to the shop and then bluntly look at me through the shop front whilst setting up.... Here is a tip on professionalism. If you can't commit to your opening hours then don't advertise it!
I had a terrible experience at The Waxing Diva's which was only made worse by the unprofessional, rude staff who were working there. It is extremely rare that I would ever give a bad review, however, I feel i should warn potential customers about this salon. I booked in for an eyebrow wax prior to attending a wedding, which I do once a month at various salons with no problems whatsoever. The girl who did it ripped off my top layer of skin (by either using the wrong type of wax or incorrect technique, i'm unsure) and then proceeded to put cream with alcohol in it on my raw skin. It was not until I left that I realised the extent of the damage that had been caused. I returned to the salon the following day to let them know only to receive the response from the staff "yeh sometimes the wax drips down and burns the eyes".. I then asked for my money back just as a matter of principle and was told she was unable to do so as the owner was "busy moving house that day" but ...read more
