Great place to eat - They do a special nacho burger which is amazing, and I also like to go for regular nachos, which are piled heavily with cheese, sour cream and guacomole, just the way everyone likes it! Overall ambiance, I wouldn't come here for more than just a quick dinner with a mate, drinking wise as a pub it is very average and not the nicest looking pub!
When out to Wentworth pub to play the pokies l have been regular here. We asked for a coffee which took around 40 mins to receive we thought that the staff forgot we went to find out if we are getting a coffee. Then staff brang it out staff spilt some coffee on my wife's lap staff didn't apologies then made smart comments. Just seem very rude we didn't do anything. We did like going to this place but wouldn't anymore. If the management wants to win customers should re train workers. Then they will have more business.
If you ain't playing the machines move on!
Well that's the impression we got on Sat night. After waling in to a dead pub, literally 5 ppl, felt sorry for the live singer and decided to have a beer and cheer them on. Mistake came when I put $21 in a pokie., as soon as the money was gone, im talking 30 seconds, we were asked to move on, from the dead pokie room so other invisible patrons could get on.
Good luck with that guys. If the management is reading this, you should retrain your staff with a focus on customer service. Cause that is the only damn thing that will ever fill this dive of a place. Seriously, a bloody smile and a welcome would have been nice
I agree ramboxxx. Management has to do something if they want more customers
As far as Pubs go this is a good one. The food was really good and service is fast.Prcing was pub prices with most under $20. A burger and chips was around $12. They use those pagers to call you when the food is ready so it was hot and well presented. The courtyard is huge with seating for a couple of hundred and under shade of trees and a nice garden. It is tradtional pub look and feel but nice and clean and staff were very friendly. I was there with the wife and kids and there is a big kids play area that kept them entertained during the stay, and they were made welcome.
It had a huge carpark that I did not know existed out the back. Really we had a great time and will be back.
This pub is the Oaks of the west. It has a huge shady beer garden where you could spend all afternoon. The restaurant serves great quality food and the staff are always incredibly friendly. In fact I can't remember not seeing one smile which is quite extraordinary these days. Oh and my pet hate, the pokies, are tucked away from the main area so you don't have to listen to their annoying noise.
