Great food, great atmos, but I agree there seems to be not enough staff & when you are paying the prices that you are then you shouldnt have to wait or stop your conversation constantly to "try & lure a waiter". May I add the staff I have encountered have been pleasant just not enough of them lol !
My favorite restaurant on the Gold Coast. The food is fantastic. A huge selection of tapas as well as a la carte menu. Ingredients are local and imaginatively served. The tapas menu is constant, but the rest of the menu seems to change about four times a year. As for the deserts - small choice but wonderful. It is not cheap, but it is worth paying the extra. I have never had any issues with the staff - have always found them very helpful, although when they're busy they are flat out. The food here is very good but unfortunately let down by the staff. We had to try and get their attention every time we wanted a drink and we seemed to be bothering them. They had no idea how to serve wine but charged well over the top prices. The toilets were beyond disgusting and almost put me off my food. Complements to the chef but I will not be returning here.
This little hidden gem is what Mudgeeraba has been missing. Lovely tapas menu and wine list. The food is always fantastic and staff are friendly and attentive.
You get what you pay for and although a little dear - is worth the extra.
I always enjoy the soft shell crab and have been quite a few times - for both business and personal lunches and dinners. Will definitely be back for more.
