The Wine Underground

We were able to book online which was handy - no waiting for the restaurant to be open. The service was excellent from the moment we stepped through the door and the wait staff were knowledgeable of the menu and the wine list. I thought the serves were a reasonable size for the type of venue and the price. Unfortunately two of our dishes were overcooked however, when this was pointed out it was accepted gracefully and compensation immediately offered. All dishes were well presented and the remaining dishes were excellent. It has a lovely atmosphere and with two rooms at either end it has a functional space - I'm keen to use one for a group gathering.
