The Writing Workshop

The Writing Workshop runs after-school, school holiday, online and in-school creative writing workshops and activities for children and young people - and Professional Development for teachers.
The Writing Workshop helps young writers build confidence, take pride in work, develop creativity, improve literacy, increase general braininess and have a lot of fun.
All workshop leaders are published writers. The Writing Workshop has helped over 7000 children since 2006.

School holiday courses take place every school holidays at Sydney Olympic Park, Homebush Bay.
After-school courses now run in Annandale, Leichhardt, Cammeray, Eastwood and Summer Hill.
Our online courses welcome participants from anywhere in the world.
We offer in-school courses ("incursions") throughout the Sydney metropolitan area and far beyond and high-quality, hands-on in-service courses for primary and secondary school teachers. ...read more
