A cosy, beautifully decorated little shop and cafe overlooking the vineyard and the hills beyond. Come weekend after lunch, the place was packed and one needs to wait for seatings and if you spot seatings available, ask whether it is already reserved as there are waiting list when busy.

Cheese & wine tasting, browse and help yourself to the beautiful cakes at the inner side counter then take them to the register. The generous cheese platter is good to share between 4 people or more for snacks. There are also ice creams in cups. Coffee and cake are ok, the cheeses are good. Trout seems to be popular but we did not try.

Nice enough with good views over the Yarra valley. Coffee is good, cheeses are great. They should invest in a bug zapper though as the flies were friendly on our recent visit!

Located on a farm overlooking the pristine Yarra Valley region, this place offers a fine selection of tasty cheese and deli produce. My favourite is their Persian feta dunked in olive oil. Their 'Chevre & Dill' consisting of goats' milk, garlic and dill spread on toasted bread is also yummy!

As a self-confessed cheeseaholic, this is my dream weekend lunch destination. What could be better than indulging in fabulous local cheeses, smoked trout, breads, chutneys & pickles? Only that + a great glass of local wine! The Saffy & the Persian Fetta are both out of this world. I think I sent my cholesterol up to all-time highs, but it was totally worth it.

Be sure to take an esky with you so you can bring home some goodies for later. The service is rather chaotic when they are busy (or you arrive behind a tour bus as we did!), and you may have to wait for a seat to become vacant. Theres a lovely little shop area for you to browse in while you wait though, filled with sweets, pantry supplies & gorgeous homewares. Well worth a visit if you're up this way.
