Theos Greek Tavern

"Disgraceful", Why are you on the beach side of town instead of the northern or western suburbs where I could visit even more often? I was with a couple of mates and we were driving from a conference and feeling hungry. Found this place on the I Phone so dropped in. What can I say other than from the start the service was friendly and inviting. The food was tavern like, not restaurants, but tasty and surprisingly better than expected. (Don't judge a book...). TYhe range was impressive and the Greek coffee was, most thankfully, GREEK.

Quality and quantity. It was so nice to have a large group sharing a banquet and there being enough for us to share. The Tarama dip and Calamari were sublime. I have since been back on many occassions and never been dissapointed. Will continue to go to this lovely family tavern. OPA!

The best Greek restaurant this side of Athens,worth visiting just for the "kleftiko"and the prawns are not bad either. Try them!!

Food was undercooked and had to be sent back twice to be re-cooked. Service was poor, staff looked disinterested and no offer was made to replace the meal or offer a discount.

I have been to many greek taverns all over melbourne over the years and i am most impressed with theo's the food was cooked beautifully, presented simply but very well and the staff were friendly outgoing! not only did we get great food, but was served in a great fashion by the waiters! best tavern i have been to in melbourne! i strongly advise goin to theos for an ejoyable night with great food!
