Dr. Anna-Mieke Kappelle (chiropractor) uses very gentle techniques to get your brain and body working together again, to help you feel and function better! She does a lot of work with children and especially with children and young people with ADD and Autism.

Dr Anna-Mieke works extensively using Neurolink / N.I.S techniques, to make sure that your brain is actually sending the right signals to your body, as well as using gentle chiropractic techniques to make sure there's no interference with those signals at a spinal level.

Neurolink is a gentle, holistic approach to healing your body. It works by helping your brain to send the right signals to your body, so you heal from the inside out. This means that you are healing yourself, at a rate decided by your own body - which in turn means that you aren't in pain and you can better resist everything that our modern lives throw at us.

Imagine your brain as a circuit board, with pathways for controlling everything that happens in your brain and body. There are pathways for all kinds of different functions: controlling physical functions such as muscle patterning, our ligament tension and keeping our spines straight from within. There are pathways for controlling other things as well, like the release of hormones and digestive enzymes, our sleep patterns, and even how we process new information and sensory input. Stress acts like a surge in that circuit board. 'switching off' the weakest circuits, so our brain isn't getting the right signals through and neither is your body. Every part of your body affects another, so the effects flow through and disrupt your whole system, resulting in even more problems!
