Third Eye Tattoo

Amazing tattoo studio, honestly one of, if not the best, in Melbourne! Have been coming here for years and have never been disappointed, the calibre of work is outstanding and the studio itself is immaculate (they've recently had a little makeover which looks awesome, and the new website looks great too) All of the artists and front of house staff are so lovely and make you feel at ease as soon as you walk through the door. Would absolutely recommend Third Eye to anyone wanting an incredible tattoo. Keep up the good work guys! See you soon for the next appointment.

I was recommended third eye by a good friend of mine, but when I went I didn't feel very comfortable and felt quite intimidated. I was meant to go in for a consultation for a custom piece and was placed with the next available (Nick) he looked at one or two pictures and went up to draw but without actually consulting me of the size, shape or positioning of everything. When he came back down, he produced a picture that was lovely but since I wasn't really "consulted" I asked for some tweaking here and there. The response I recieved was quite atrocious. It's not my first tattoo, but the first time I had been with someone who had been so not understanding, short tempered and impatient. Nick ended up being quite rude and aggressive and literally not taking my requests on board and saying things like "I had no idea what I was talking about".. My experience with Third Eye has been very disappointing. I walked in there expecting to be matched with the artist best suited to do the tattoo I wanted but instead I was thrown to the first available person, a guy named Bugsy, who completely stuffed up my tattoo. Not only did he fail to follow specific instructions about colours and the thickness of the lines but his work looks sloppy, with no symmetry and in addition bits of the tattoo have fallen off after healing. When I went back to discuss my dissatisfaction with the tattoo neither the management or the supposed artist took any responsibility and dismissed my concerns with a simple "the work is more than satisfactory, it couldn't be done any better". When I asked to see the owner of Third Eye they refused to organise a meeting. I have sought a second opinion about the tattoo and was told that not only it is very poorly executed and cannot be fixed unless removed but it is also very badly scarred. Totally recommend this studio to anybody looking to get their first tattoo, or 100th tattoo. Positive environment, awesome vibe, unique, and one of the best tattoo studio's in Melbourne. I'll be back for more with such varied range of artists who are all so talented. Feel really happy after getting work done here. Thanks Third Eye
