My car broke down one kilometer from Thrilmere, with a snapped alternator engine drive belt to be in such a pickle. I limped into Thrilmere Auto port with steam hissing out of the radiator to discover I required water pump assembly, belt, etc.
Well the owner mechanic (Matt) diagnosed my predicament in a flash, ordered the parts there and then, took me to Tahmor railway station in his car (so I could get back to Bowral for business) and had my car patched up and ready to go by 5.15pm.
IF THIS IS NOT SERVICE, WELL BLOODY WHAT IS!
