01/12/19 Update on original complaint - TPC rejected fixing their bad workmanship due to warrantees and guarantees by all stakeholders in their opinion having expired? Last week we received notification from our property manager to inform that yet another ceiling section in our property is collapsing. I do not agree that this issue is a guarantee or warrantee issue, it is blatantly bad workmanship and using the incorrect products for the job at the time, if this was done correctly when the house was built, we would not be experiencing the progressive collapse of the ceilings in this property. Bottom line potentially if you build with this organisation don't expect it to structurally last for more than 8-10 years before it falls apart.
09/12/19 Update - would love to be posting something positive here, but it appears TPC think I'm a joke and that I'm too small fry to even acknowledge my complaint/issue. Please people be very very careful don't fall for their misrepresentations, lies, and puffery on their website and what is spouted by their marketing and sales team, their after service does not exist and their care factor is below zero :-( I do not recommend this builder stay clear.
On the 8th August made contact, spoke to Tahlia, to ascertain whether TPCA was going to fulfil their commitment to building quality properties due to bad workmanship on our investment property. Tahlia requested I email with the details etc. assured me that she would review and get back to me ASAP. Waited a week, heard nothing emailed again for current status on the 14th and now it is the 20th and still no response. This can only mean that the marketing jargon on their website and what was promised to us at the time was just puffery and lies. Be warned people do not believe anything they say as they do not back it up in come the time. They duck and dive and go underground so they don't have to fix their bad workmanship :-(
Agree with dovedeb63, just had the same experience and we now heading to the tribunal. What a waste of time and money.
Heard from Tahlia Crawford Maintenance Co-ordinator Thomas Paul Constructions, on the 21st August saying she had sent my complaint/concern to their plasterer for review, I then followed up again on 30th. It appears their current plasterer is no better than the one's used at build time, unable to provide the service or experties required to do the job. Hopefully we won't have to go down the tribunal road as well :-(
We are having the same problem with an investment property they just built. They bullied us into settling even though there are major issues with the quality of the build. We will be seeking further legal advice. How on earth they could pass this property in as finished and to their high quality standards is an absolute joke. I have so many photos of their dogdy work and its going to cost us $$$ to make it habitable.

We had a very smooth and stress free build with Thomas Paul Constructions. The finished product exceeded our expectations for the price. They answered all my questions quickly, and our foreman was so kind and considerate when we were stuck in traffic and we were nearly 2 hrs late for our appointment!! We can't fault TPC, we would choose them for another construction project without hesitation.

Hi Tom, your decision long term to invest in a Thomas Paul home will no doubt generate a very positive outcome which we are sure will overshadow any frustrations you have had in the past
