Yes, Thomastown Bingo is fun, you can have a cheap night out with friends to play bingo but we found with all the large bingo centres in Melbourne due to the crowds and number of books in play to really be in a chance for a win, you have to spend the money and buy a lot of books on the PET, the electronic hand held gaming machine that is so easy to use, you can't go there and expect to win on 3 books when really you need to play 18 books or more but it's done to simple luck, it is fun gambling where you can be in control and it's far better than the pokies, thats looking through rose coloured glasses, recommended to go too for a good night out.
Thomastown Bingo Centre is a great modern bingo centre complete with canteen that serves a choice of hot meals, snacks, cakes and coffee etc. at affordable value for money prices.
It is a large centre that seats up to 700 comfortably and is fully air conditioned and heated and they have decent comfortable chairs to sit on that won't do your back, so you won't need the services of a chiropractor after a bingo session unlike some other bingo centres we know of that have chairs that are the equivalent of sitting on a concrete slab!
