My 80 year old parents attended this establishment yesterday 05052010, along with my sister who is recovering from a recent operation. They ordered 3 cups of white tea and eventually were delivered 2. The reason the 3rd was not delivered, they found out after nearly half an hour, was that ''the machine that makes the hot water had broken down, and had not reheated yet." At that stage, Mum was ready to settle for a glass of milk, which she got. At no time had any of the staff approached my parents to offer an explaination as to the delay. In that half an hour the staff couldn't have gone across to Big W and bought a cheap jug !! I'm sure other people must have been waiting as well, if that was the true explaination. Whatever the explaination, this sort of service is abominable and I'm sure Thompsons would not like to be represented in this way by their staff. I am very angry and upset that my parents were treated this way. Very diappointing Thompsons...
