We have been eating Thong-U-Rai for many many years and are always pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and value for money.
We have eaten at some pretty nice Thai restaurants over the years and always find ourselves comparing it to Thong-U-Rai, and genuinely have not found many we like more.
Always fast, always good, we could not recommend them highly enough.
BEST EVER FISH CAKES!!!
These guys are amazing on service (fast, friendly and can't do enough to help you), and their food is of amazing quality. You just have to see them doing their take-away business every night to know they're the best in Ramsgate, probably the whole St George and Sutherland shire (I know, I've had plenty of thai both sides of the bridge).
Don't sit in the restaurant, it's not the most atmospheric of places. Grab the take away, go next door to Video Ezy and have yourself a great night in at home!
I get take away from here about once a week. They are to date, the fastest delivery I have ever received. It takes about 10-15 mins from your call until they are knocking on your door. Great taste, prices and authenticity!
What I usually get: Green curry chicken, pad thai with extra egg, Chu-chee prawns
