Thornebridge was built in 1868 by Henry Thorne as a Commercial Travellers Inn and up until 1970 operated under many licencees as a Hotel. Thornebridge is the only Victorian Heritage Council registered residential building in Greater Shepparton and has been fully restored back to 1868. When we purchased the property in 1996 it was a derelict dump and everything you can think of had been stolen including the floors. Today she is a stunning grand victorian building highlighting a forgotten bygone era. If you have any friends or family wanting to stay overnight in Murchison this is the ONLY place to stay. Be prepared to be amazed and relax in an atmosphere not to be seen or enjoyed anywhere else.
