On our way over the Strzelecki's today we stopped in a bought some pies and bread at the Thorpedale Bakery. My son had told me, the pies were great, and funnily enough he was right. We bought a mushroom and steak pie, plus a chicken and asparagus pie, I had the later. I love pies, I make pies....this was so good.Many bakers use mince in their pies, not for these pies...The chicken and asparagus, left me wanting for more, tender chicken pieces with asparagus that still held its firmness and taste...and the same with the steak and mushroom.
Thank you to you Thorpedale Bakery, we will be seeing you more often now...
