Thrower Fish & Chips

Lovely service at Thrower Fish & Chips. I bought dinner there recently, the medium chips with chicken salt, $6. And a huge piece of crumbed barramundi for around $9. The barra was beautiful! And cooked perfectly. The chips they serve and a really large cut, and unfortunately they were a little under done & soggy.
There's seating here at the shop or it's just across the road from the lovely Currumbin Creek.

If you love super salty and uber greasy, this is the place. I loved the chips and potato scallops, but should definitely have ordered grilled fish, not fried (because I can delude myself that it would have made a difference!)
One of those meals that I looked forward to, enjoyed and then regretted!
Huge servings and dine in or takeaway options available.
Nice to eat by Currumbin Creek, just over the road.
