Quality with the emphasis on tasteSick of cooking food in other people's kitchens, Richard Gruber decided to leave the hotel cooking industry and start up his own business. The 'Thynne Road Deli and Cafe' is the result, and the locals of Morningside sure are glad about Gruber's career change.

I work in Morningside and about once or twice a week I treat myself to lunch from this cafe. The food is always nice, however the experience is always let down by a few younger girls who work there behind the counter. They never smile! When I'm on my lunch break trying to relax for 30 mins, the last thing I want is a sullen face staring blankly at me as I'm ordering my food. What happened to basic customer service? I hope the manager of the cafe reads this page as it truly lets you down and is something that needs attention.
