It was such a terrible service by the guy who said he works there once a week. He wouldnt even reveal his real name to me (he said his name was BOSS). He was a rude man with condescending behaviour and has the audacity to blame and verbally abuse me despite the fact that he had damaged my watch. I will NOT recommend this business to ANYONE! Not worth even a star. Poor customer service, poor workmanship (i just brought the watch to replace the battery but it got damaged instead and he said he did not touch it and he said "tough luck"). I eventually went to JJ Brown Watchmaker to get it fix and the person there said that the damage was caused by someone who carelessly opened the watch. I bought the watch a year ago and the only person who had opened the watch was that guy. I will NEVER use this business again and will tell my family, colleagues and friends of this horrible experience of mine. I do not want anyone to suffer the same experience.
Do not go here! Our experience with this store in the Myer Centre has been terrible. Firstly they charged $70 for the replacement of two watch batteries (when it should have been about $35). In the process of replacing one of the batteries they managed to scratch the back of the watch and were unable to restore the seal correctly, requiring it to then need to be repaired. They told us that it needed to be sent to Perth and would take approximately 4 weeks to repair. However what this actually means is it will take 4 weeks for the service centre to look at it before realizing they need to order parts for it. It has been 13 weeks since the simple battery replacement and we're still waiting for it to be ...read more
A further update ... I have just received my watch back and found that the watch face is massively scratched (it almost appears like the watch face has been swapped with someone else's). I've demanded that I'll be taking it elsewhere to be fixed and billing them for it as I don't want them try to fix that then stuff up something else.
As for the refund on the overcharged batteries and inconvenience of 3 months without a watch - I've spoken to the staff in store and also on the phone this week and they've told me that they can't do anything about it because the management is on holidays until next week. I've demanded that the management calls me first thing Monday to organize the refund and watch face replacement.
I had the same experience. It was such a horrible experience. I wished i had seen this post earlier before i went there.
