Tien Dat Fine Vietnamese Cuisine

I've frequented Tien Dat multiple times, the food is always great, and it's always been enough to bring us back despite the average and sometimes rude service. Tonight however, was unacceptable, in the end we actually cancelled our order and left. It began with the waiter bringing out the wrong order for my partner and reluctantly agreeing to send it back to the kitchen to have it corrected. Upon asking if I could have my meal kept warm until my partners was ready - to allow us to eat simultaneously on our date night - I was rudely told that wasn't an option and that I'd have to awkwardly consume my meal whilst my partner watched, and then vice versa. The waiter continued to rudely confront me about this request and then spoke another language loudly and rudely in front of us to his co-workers whilst they snickered. A favourite of ours! Food is always delicious!
Highly recommend the salt and pepper squid and lemongrass beef bun - scrumptious!
Service is a bit hit and miss but worth it for the food!

Looking at the high ratings, we decided to try it out. A small, rather cramp restaurant with nice ambience, service is very good, friendly and attentive. Ordered Bun and it was a bit of a wait, worth it. Generous servings, light yet filling, only a little too salty for our liking. Will definitely come back.

My favourite place to go in box hill :) tasty food that's cheap and fresh. Service is always lacking a little, but overall I love it :)

This restaurant is not hygienic. Service is poor, not recommended.
