I remember going to Tiffanys in New York on several trips and buying over $200,000 different items with my parents - whilst growing up.....My partner and I are planning to get married - one afternoon carrying over $300,000 he dragged me to Bondi... I was practically in my PJ's - and he was wearing extreme casual attire. We walked into Tiffanys and for 8 minutes - no one gave us eye contact. I then interrupted a young lady and said - Could you please assist us? She quietly called to her male colleague - who could not hear her and went on cleaning surface counters. Other potential shoppers were also ignored. Lady said I will send someone over. I started to feel bad - then I realised - no its their bad luck - be it $5 or $1 million they dont deserve our money. Appalling service. Both the store and the customer care line. Went in to choose a gift. Told they didn't have it but would order it in and call me within 24h. No call. Called customer care - deeply apologetic. "Bondi Junction store will call within 2 hours." No call. Call customer care next day. Deeply apologetic. Repeat. No call. Call again next day. Repeat. Have to re-order gift. Weekend passes. No call. Call customer care Monday. "So sorry. Someone will call within 2 hours." Receive a call 1.58h later. Gift will be in tomorrow. Receive call Tuesday: gift ready to collect. Cancel meeting to go in to collect (by now they should have been couriering to me with a gift of my own) and they have ordered the wrong thing. "I'll go get the management". 10 minutes later, I'm still standing I a store empty apart from a security guard and 8 gossiping sales staff. No sign of the management.
