Tiger Mottle Cafe

Was a little rustic, but the staff and food were absolutely fabulous. It is off the beaten traxk a little but if you're with a group it has a great upstairs terrace to sit and chat on

This cool little cafe is hidden in the back street of Paddington just off of a junction known as the ‘Five Ways’, namely because there are five roads all intersecting there. So, I had wandered through the back streets and was looking for a place to sit down and have a drink, and this place certainly seemed to be quite welcoming. In fact it was incredibly welcoming, so I did what I would normall do, and that is order a coffee, sit down somewhere, and continue reading my book. Being in the middle of the suburbs meant that this place was going to be pretty quiet, and the décor also reflected that somewhat. As for the coffee, well I have to admit that it wasn’t bad at all, and is certainly worth the trek here to try it out. In fact, this is one of those places, if I happened to live in the area, that I would probably spend a lot more time.

Really nice food and coffee. They do nice music in the background as well, which helps set the mood. They have a nice warm cosy fireplace during winter which is something a bit different!

Good service, I loved the banana latte smootie, the perfect morning kicker. Can be quite busy throughout the weekends, so get in early and grab a seat out in the sunny courtyard.
