Just had our 5th fencing job completed by Timbertop - real beaut fencing job. Thank U, Mark and Chris. I was worried when I found out that Timbertop had a change of ownership but the admin staff had not changed - good old Jo-anne is still there and reassured me. Nick moved and sold his business to Mark, who very kindly cut a hole in the gate that Nick's previous fencer (19/2/14 review) overlooked and which we did not realise till new tenants moved in. I will be organising a quote for our 6th job in the next few mths. Thank U too, Jo-anne. It pays to be patient and wait

This was my second experience with Timbertop Fencing, I had my back fence built about 12 months ago, all went very well. I called them again as I needed my side fence replaced. The girls in the office told me they were very busy with quotes which wasnt a problem for me as there was no hurry. I had my fence built within 4 weeks and both my neighbour and myself were very pleased with the result. The fencer was very pleasant and answered any questions we had. It did rain while he was working, obviously they cant use their electrical equipment in the rain but he was back on the job as soon as the weather cleared up. I would not hesitate in recommending Timbertop and will use them again in the future.

I have had fencing jobs with Timbertop on 4 occasions over the 6 yrs. Satisfied with their performance over the first 3 occasions, the 4th job surprised and disappointed me. I had placed a job on one of my investment properties that dragged on for several mths. The job had been assigned to a contractor who procrastinated till I reported it. The office staff Jo-Anne was great. She expedited the job but when it was completed, I had another shock as I had never seen such a shonky job with 4 faults (incl left over timber pcs and debris not removed) to complain about. I shot an email to the office, and within 48 hrs, received a personal phone call from Nick advising that he had amended what the other fella had failed to do, asking me to give him a call if I was still dissatisfied or found fault with it. The most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. Got a call 2days before they were going to start I had asked for a week as we have 2 dogs & needed to organize them to be out of there way, so lack of communication between management. Was also told the job would be done in 1-2 days. Didn't turn up on the first day, after quite a few phone calls to get them to start the job that they thought they had finished, took over a week for it to get done. Fence not straight pailings & posts all crooked. Finished the fence shorter than what it was. Old fence still on front nature strip been 4 weeks and they broke our retaining wall. Bad lack of communication you call them and no one calls you back. They don't seem to care. Keep getting the run around. They also had the nerve to send the bill even though the job is still not finished. Save yourself the pain and never use this company.

Terrible quality, poor service and very unorganised administration. Left the fence unfinished and building materials littered in our yard for weeks. Definitely not recommended.
