I have been going to the chermside salon for 2 years now and I have always had a fantastic cut, colour, experience. The stylist's their are wonderful, very polite and friendly and pay particular attention to styling exactly what you want. I have also has my hair done their for two formals back when I was in high school and love what they did. I recommend checking this place out. You won't be disappointed.

I paid $100 for the senior stylist.

I asked to maintain my layers, I got a straight line cut across the bottom and was even asked to keep my head tilted down at the floor for the entire cut. The cut is terrible, my layers still need a trim and the upper layer of my hair is longer than the underneath due to the poor technique.

The cut was rushed and even though I paid senior stylist, only did the cut then passed me to the other stylist for the dry off.

Possibly the worst salon I have been to in years.

I went in with my hair in pretty poor condition but I knew I could bring it back to life, like I have in the past. I told the girl I just wanted to cut my ratty ends, and because my hair is very fine I have some very light layers to lift the top up. To my horror she picked up the side of my hair and hacked off 6 INCHES of hair and created very choppy and blunt layers that look ridiculous on such fine hair (like any rocker chick 18 year old walking around now which is not my style at all). I agreed to a max of 1.5 inches off and I lost 3 to 6 inches over all the layers. This girl saw my hair decided it was in bad shape and just hacked it off no questions asked. The sides of my hair are now at bob height and some parts just reach my shoulders and the back is longer again but very very fine from having far too many layers so its almost like spiders web over my back (creating the illusion of length I think was her plan). Not impressed! Service was ridiculously slow and overpriced. Don't waste your time.
