Todarello's Katoomba Village Fruit Market

I went to buy a small watermelon on Summer 2023. the small watermelons were below of the large ones and when I picked it up the large one rolled over. There were two staff there and one of them approached to me and yelled that I have to take the ones on the top. I told him that I needed one small since I need to carry it to home. He continued being agressive and I told him that this was not the way to treat a costumer and I would not buy anything. He used offensive language that translates "left the store". From them I will buy my grosseries in Coles, Aldi, and Wollies. Their products may not be fresh or local but I am treated with the respect the costumers deerved.

Great fresh produce - always good quality. I wish they had a wider range of interesting veggies and fruits (I'll admit I miss my asian veggies/fruit from when I lived in Sydney), but they are definitely good value and have all the usual suspects.

Fresh fruit and vege, helpful staff who will retrieve special items like thai basil from out the back. Got a fab Christmas tree today!

My partner recently lost a valuable item at the store. The staff were fantastic going out of their way to help.. Love the service fresh veges and turkish bread. Thanks.

The best green grocer I know of in the mountains. A huge range of the freshest fruit and vegetables. Also have great olive oil and Parmesan cheese (when buying the cheese I try to get one that has been cur square into the center to avoid getting to much of the inedible crust)
