Tokyo Hometown Japanese Supermarket

This is a fantastic little supermarket tucked in A'Beckett street Melbourne, so would be close to lots of student accommodation. The selection of snacks and even wide range of instant noodles really takes me back to the fond memories I had when I was travelling through Japan. They have a good range of sakes and Japanese beer as well. Even if you are not hankering for snacks you'd most likely walk out of this supermarket with more than one snack treat. The flavoured KitKats are my favourite, especially the green tea ones.

This supermarket is open 24/7 and is really well presented so is very authentic in taking you back to visiting a convenience store in Japan. There is a large selection of snacks (including green tea KitKat which is one of my favourites), shabu shabu food products, instant noodles amongst other noteable asian grocery basics. The prices are extremely reasonable and the service is very friendly. Great to visit if you are feeling peckish.
