Tokyo Teppanyaki

Went here at lunchtime with Groupon voucher. Had the 'Kobe' 9 course banquet. It's a laid back affair where you can sit back and enjoy the talents of your personal chef. No need to be a performing seal and catch food in your mouth. Food was reasonable. Staff were pleasant , there were very few other patrons so easy day for them. With the voucher it was $50 per head which is what I'd expect to pay full price. Without the voucher it would have been @$100 which is way too much. Anyway been here and done it. I can go to my local suburban Japanese and get much more for the money and probably the same to better quality.

There is nothing to like about this restaurant. From the moment you walk in to the joint with a booked time of 8.30, only to be directed to the bar to purchase overpriced drinks. Finally get a table at 9.30, the staff were rude, especially the management and the food was ordinary at best. Stay at home and order take-away.

Went here for my hens night. Had never been to teppanyaki before, but they wre fabulous. The chef was so entertaining and as a group we had a great time. Not sure that it would be as good as just a coulpe though
