Was cross shopping the sportage platinum against tucson highlander. Saw the exact color we wanted at the front of this particular dealership so went in. Spent 20 minutes trying to catch one of the dealers attention but was completely ignored. Ended up walking out. Pretty dissapointing.
Just picked up my new Forester from the dealer, the colour i wanted was available and the price was better than the 3 other dealers i went to (even my local dealer).
This was our second purchase after a mazda 3 for my wife and we will be back for a mazda 2 in a couple of years for our daughter. Thanks team!
Went to purchase a used vehicle listed from the dealer - my first dealer purchase. We were there for two hours during which I negotiated a price and Organised finance application. During financing talks we discussed an adequate weekly payment which I agreed on. Paperwork and deposit were paid because the terms seemed reasonable. They told me I could pick up car the next day once financing was approved. Next day I left work early so I could pick up car. The finance rep proceeded to go over every possible insurance and extras package. I refused since this was not mentioned earlier. After an hour on the very last page I had to sign I found that the final price had magically increased to include a 770 dealer origination fee. Not once was this mentioned in the total 3 hours I spent there until the final moment. Being overwhelmed by all the newly introduced numbers, I realised I had no option since I was not able to find alternative financing without having to lose more ...read more
I went there to get my Mazda 6 serviced. I selected a day when there was a "courtesy car" available, and I was not told of the $40 charge until it just appeared on my final invoice. Matter was resolved with Ian Fisk, but the lack of initial empathy astounds me.
I was also told that charging for a hire car (not courtesy car) was normal practice, and that unlike other brands (ie BMW) they at Tom Kerr Mazda don't "hide" the cost in total servicing fee.
Could've fooled me!
I recently visited Tom Kerr Car Yard, we only had our sights on one car, standing out the front in clear view, we stood there for 20 mins with sales staff looking at us, finally i had to walk in and get them to help, the sales staff was quiet helpful when we said we would take it until all the paper work was done, they promised us a lot of things but was never received, we had to get our car shipped to us, because of our location, they would not keep us up to date would not give us the the shipping companies number, for a car we had paid for, a management staff was also unhelpful, bad customer service, WOULD NOT USE THIS CAR YARD!
