Tomkins Motors

I was recommended Tompkins Motors, and being a gay male who has no idea about cars Stewart put me at ease!
I wanted a service on my car, not only was he the cheapest mechanic I've ever been to in my 30+ years of driving, he put on new window wipers and even washed my car before picking it up!
I will be going back and if anyone wants a trustworthy mechanic, Stewart is the guy to go to. Five Star Plus service and work. Car runs like brand new!

New owner/operator, Stewart is great. I followed him from where he worked previously. He's been looking after my cars for years, old and new. He has great "mechanical sympathy" as Peter Brock would say.

First time I got my car serviced at Tomkins Motors, they were fantastic and I was very happy. That's why for the next service I didn't hesitate to go back. Unfortuantly this time I felt I was completely taken for a ride and ripped off. I booked the car in for work needed - rear shockers and cooling system including hoses and coolent. (This was picked up at the last service, so needed to be done as coolent was leaking). Was meant to pick up the car the following afternoon - due to shop being busy was closer to 3 days later. The owner assurred me if anything major needed fixing he would call me before starting any works. Day 2 he called me to say the rear shockers had been done, but due to them being super busy he hadn't had a chance to do the cooling system as yet. During this phone call the owner stated again if any major works needed doing he would call me before going ahead, I comfirmed that would be great and thanked him.
