Casual share board meals with dj entertainment later in the eveningTonka is all about a mixed crowd that love their food, drinks and sounds.
The ground floor public bar and diner has casual share plate and bar snack meals with local craft beers and cocktails from 5pm.
A selection of local established DJ entertainment starts at 9pm playing an eclectic mix of soft but funky sounds.
The middle floor Club Lounge will be securing some of Sydney's best promoter teams to give you a more directive sound after 9pm for a more youthful market being indie pop and house crunch to hip hop.
The top floor Gallery Bar will play old school funk soul slow jam styles to chill till you want to thrill.

was so looking forward to Tonka as I had enjoyed Coda and other sister restaurants. However while I enjoyed the spices and interesting take on authentic Indian that makes this a 'modern Indian/fusion' establishment, everything was too heavily salted (that night something was not quite right as it was very busy so I think extra care not taken). It was my Mum's birthday and my parents have travelled all through Asia and so I was excited to take them to Tonka but they were disappointed as was I. I would skip this and try the other exciting new restaurants Melbourne has to offer. Staff also seemed annoyed at the small tip which I what I thought they deserved given how busy it was and we didn't get the attention we expected.
