Top Tune Automotive Mosman

Top tune were the most over priced mechanic i have ever used, i can't believe how they would get repeat business from anyone.
I was up sold on everything and the invoice was clearly maximized in every way possible.
They even charged me for stuff i asked not to be done, i was aware of these unnecessary issues and they didn't need to be done i explained this to them but they said they done it anyway, only to realize the following day that half of it wasn't even done i just got ripped off instead! Other things were just silly and ridiculously expensive for little things.
I seriously am shocked of how pricey they are, i have been maintaining a fleet of my business vehicles for many years and know roughly what things should cost (being fair i understand they need to make money ).
I will never recommend them.
Lucky i only took one vehicle there.
I am a strong happy supporter of local businesses but not top tune,i will never return.

The team at top tune are really professional. Kim is a great guy who is fully transparent with costs and helps you make the best decision for your needs. We got our car serviced here and the service was impeccable from dropping it off to picking it up, fast and efficient! Price came in less than what was initially quoted which was a bonus and they don't have hundreds of dollars worth of 'needed' extras, they just do what is necessary. Will definitely be coming here again.

Top service a great location. They can even leave your keys at the vet next door so you can pick up your car after hours. They park it in street parking nearby.
Got our car checked and they are very communicative and friendly.

Excellent mechanic. Solid servicing done efficiently and they are very responsive and pro-active when something unusual happens. Happy to educate when required in order to understand an issue. Not cheap, but it is Mosman.

Disappointing experience, I actually paid full synthetic engine oil price for a blended oil here. I had requested at the time of booking and dropping my car off for a service here that a full synthetic oil should be used during my car's service as that is the quality of engine oil I had been using since I had bought my car. Later on when I went to collect my car, I was surprised to see that the engine oil grade stated on my invoice was a blended oil one. I questioned this but was told that this was a full synthetic oil so I ended up calling the oil company to seek clarification and they confirmed my doubts that the oil usedin my car was definately a synthetic blend and not a full synthetic variety. I then called up the workshop & explained the conversation I had had with the oil company but they still maintained that a full synthetic was used & they would speak with their mechanic and get back to me with the exact grade.
