I had my first ever dinghy sailing lesson with Hank after many years of 'crewing' bigger boats twighlight sailing. I was pretty unco-ordinated (even for a newbie) - Hank made the lesson a great deal of fun and broke things down into nice manageable chunks, so I could learn at a pace that suited me. He is incedibly understanding, patient and supportive whilst also gently pushing you to exceed your own expectations.
I highly recommend him for anyone who wants to give dinghy sailing a go - you will enjoy yourself immensely and learn a lot along the way.
I've also seen him sail with much more advanced sailors - for those who are ready for it he will teach you to really push your limits.
I've now had several dingy and a J24 Sailing lesson with Instructor Hank Beyer and I'm totally addicted to the sport now. Hank is so calm and explains things that even I understand and of course makes it fun and enjoyable. Highly recommend anyone who is interested in sailing to contact Hank Beyer and book in a private lesson.
