Rod is an absolute star. When we were demolishing to build a few years ago, a "live" cable was found underground, and no one seemed willing or able to figure out what to do. Rod came out and had it sorted out within 30 minutes of showing up. Since then, he's always been my go-to electrician - he's always on time, he does great work, and he charges fairly. Everything I want from a tradesman!
Called Rod on Sunday after pool stopped working! He arrived within half an hour. Professional and courteous. Isolated problem within seconds and resolved within few minutes. We have been taken for a ride many times since we've arrived in Australia and it was wonderful to have faith restored! Rods number is saved in my phone for the next electrical need.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS SPARKY!!! I was charged $100 for a quote despite the fact that he personally told me "no call out fees and free quote". I would not recommend him to anyone

Have used him twice now. the first time I had an emergency on a public holiday and still no call out fee! He turned up when he said he would, fixed the problem there and then and didn't charge the earth! When we built our extension I got 3 quotes. He came in at a great price, did the job with no fuss and with a smile. His number has a permanent place on my fridge. Prompt. Friendly. Reliable.
