Toscani's Cafe Bar & Restaurant

Pretty sure this place has closed now , but Toscanis was too expensive and not worth the price.

Great food, amazing service, and awesome atmosphere

Clearly this business is in the game of upsetting people and not doing anything about it, going by the number of bad reviews.
We went here with a group and upon placing our order, we were told we could pay at the end. So when it came time for us to leave, we were told they don't split bills. They could see that we were all goibg to pay separately when we ordered, so why would we have changed our mind.
I had Red Velvet cake, which was dry and tasted horrible. My green tea was extremely bitter, so much so, I had to get another pot of hot water to weaken it.
The staff seemed not to appreciate employment and was snotty at having to do "extra".
No. We won't be back.

Went for lunch at Toscani's at garden city yesterday with the kids, ordered our entre was ok decent bowl of wedges with a small plastic cup of sour cream that cost $1.50 Got the kids the cheeseburger meal $9 with chips and my wife and I got the Beef burger specials.
Food came out and all the burgers were the same except my wife and mine had lettuce and tomato instead of cheese I was thinking for an extra 3 dollars all you get is some lettuce and a few pieces of tomato? the food was really dry no sauce comes with the food we didn't even finish it as it was not that good, only good points were it wasn't packed and the service was ok other but the food let it down we decided this is the second bad experience we have had at toscanis MT Gravatt we just wont go back

Don't go there for dining, it is a waste of time!
Had 2 beers and a share starter with my wife, then wait over 45 min for 2 pasta dishes, and when we finally had our plates, it was a very small in quantity and looks like they have thrown pasta and sea food in it!
Ok, we had the beers for free, but still...
Very disappointed, not worth the money you paid for at all.
Would not go there ever again !
